You will come to the aid of smolders - cute, but powerful spirits-companions of Kena.

Seek out and collect the fledglings hiding in the village. As you seek out more and more decays, powerful new abilities will open up to you. Use the power of decay and cleanse the village of filth.
- Explore an enchanting world. Uncover the mystery of a strange curse that has fallen on the village. Uncover the secrets and absorb the power of the spirit world to restore the former glory of this world. Explore all corners of the village to find caches and rewards. Find smoldering hats for your collection and dress up your companions in them. Find letters left by lost spirits and deliver them to the address to unlock new areas.
- Immerse yourself in dynamic battles. Kena is constantly hampered by corrupted spirits stuck in this world and unable to cross over. Manage to withstand their onslaught and win.
